Tragic Loss of Baseball Coach New Palestine Baseball suffered a tragic loss Saturday evening, July 26th. Coach Jerry Lovell passed away at the age of 38. He leaves behind a wife (Pam), sons Jay (19), Vincent (15) and Zach (10). Arrangements for Jerry are now complete. The service will be held at Bell Mortuary in Carrolton (Finley). It is located on US52 about 2 miles east of New Palestine. It is located on the North side of the road. It is between 200W and 100W. The Bell family has been AMAZING! Bell Mortuary, 1444-1512 West US 52, Fountaintown, IN 46130 Visitation will be Thursday, July 31st from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The service will be held on Friday, August 1st. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Please note that Tony Long has setup a fund for the Family through 5/3 Bank. Please pass the word on to as many people and organization as possible. NPYL is going to donate 1/2 of the proceeds to the family fund at 5/3. The information on that will be in the paper will indicate this.
