7U (1st Grade) & 8U (2nd
Grade)
Both Heat and Blaze teams
will be named following these tryouts
The travel leagues and
tournaments are played by age level.
In order to qualify for a specific age group, your next
birthday cannot be prior to May 1st of that year. Example: If you intend to play
8U for the 2009 Spring and Summer you can not turn 9 prior
to May 1st, 2009.
You must tryout for the proper age level
failure to do so will result in disqualification and you
will not be placed on a team.

Tryout Date -
If you plan to play on a travel team you are required
to attend the appropriate tryout for your age group.
The tryout for all 7U & 8U players will be:

Monday 4/20 5:30 – 8:00PM at the
NYB complex behind Hazel Dell Elementary

Group 1: 7 & 8U (Last names A-M) 5:30 – 6:30

Group 2: 7 & 8U (Last names N-Z) 6:30 – 7:30

Players must wear baseball pants, hats and cleats during tryouts.
No child will be allowed to wear travel baseball uniforms from a prior year, if a child shows up
in travel uniforms they will be asked to change.

application must be completed and turned at tryouts.

Teams will be announced by
Friday, April 25th by web posting and a phone call to the
selected players.
